Chicago Ron's monster triple gold pouch - 2013/14

Another great find of the year contender pouch with our first ever William and Mary gold coin Ron is now tied as the clubs top gold coin finder on 13 with Ark Gary Largest chunk of gold ever found and the Celtic gold ain't too shabby either

Ancient gold ingot 11.7g, 34.99mm L - reported as treasure to museum
Perfect weight to make 2 full Celtic gold staters

Addedomaros 45BC Celtic gold stater - sent to CCI for recording
    18.32mm, 5.48g
I've recorded it as 13.0617 and the nice new Addedomaros is 13.0618, good to see a bit of the legend on the reverse.
    All the best
    John

A complete cast copper alloy pouring spout in the form of a dog’s head. Medieval to Post-Medieval (c. AD 1400 – c. AD 1550).
Similar decorative spouts are illustrated in Bailey (1997, 57-59) but none of them show how they would have been attached to vessels. The spouts mainly date to the 15th century although their use may have continued into the 16th century.
A number of these types of spouts have been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database. For example, see finds: SF-CC25D3 and IOW-0E8386
